a man was killed in a crash after suffering a medical episode. this happened just before 6 last

and buffalo. police say a man in his 50's was behind the wheel when he had some kind of medical episode. they say the female passenger had to take control of the van, but she ran into a pole. the man was taken to the hospital where he later died. the woman was not injured. metro is apologizing after its 9-1-1 system crashed and was out for almost 7 hours the system-- which was updated late last year-- went down on tuesday leaving callers with emergencies... stranded. 311 and 911 callers- got a busy tone or message... and police say about 30 to 50 minutes went by where calls could not be answered at all. ""yesterdays unfortunate event is not representative of kind of service that we want to provide and is definitely not what the public deserves." " the new system was installed after the old system crashed last june. it cost 2 point 3 million dollars. rand paul and rick santorum are out of the race for the gop nomination.

trump with a sizable lead over cruz...but he lost. now its on to new hampshire where both candidates are spending time gearing up for the primary. the sexual assault charge against actor and comedian bill cosby will move forward. a judge in pennsylvania ruled yesterday that cosby will have to face a case that's more than a decade old. cosby's attorneys argued that the criminal charge should be dismissed based on an agreement he says he made with the former district attorney...but that's not being honored. cosby was arrested in december and charged with drugging and violating a former temple university employee. a second anti- abortion activist from texas is expected to turn himself in to authorities today. attorneys for david daleiden say he's scheduled to appear in a houston courtroom after posting bond. the other activist, sandra merritt surrendered to police yesterday. the 2 are accused of tampering with government records, as they made an undercover video slamming planned

the videos alleged that the organization was selling body parts from aborted fetuses. last month an investigation ended with a grand jury indicted them and not planned parenthood. united and delta airlines are telling their employees that they can opt out of flights headed to areas where the zika virus is a concern. both carriers say staff members who are pregnant or may become pregnant can switch routes without any consequences. the world health organization has declared a global health emergency because of the mosquito-borne virus. if the oakland raiders need to find a new home-- nfl commissioner roger goodell says he not opposed to the team making the move to las vegas. "ultimately it is the ownership's decision. it requires 24 of the 32 owners to approve any relocation to any market. obviously there are specific issues that would need to be discussed in the context of las vegas." roger goodell

woman and injuring dozens will appear in court today. lakeisha holloway faces 71 charges and if convicted, she could be sentenced for more than 1- thousand years... district attorney steve wolfson says the charges reflect the amount of people impacted by holloway's actions. at her last court appearance, holloway's attorneys said that they need more time to review her medical records. recording devices on the road-- are becoming a popular trend... dash cams were most commonly used by police... but the number of people opting to use the recording device in their day to day commute has increased. the cameras are able to shoot in a higher quality and faster rates-- and when something goes wrong-- theyre able to slow it down and take a look at it from each spot of the actual problem. which can be beneficial in case of a dispute. today? because he is hiding, that's what's happening." key michigan officials were absent from the hearing. the michigan department of health and human services is now investigating if the lead-tainted water is causing skin rashes. president obama makes his first visit to an american mosque. the president went to the islamic society of baltimore on wednesday. he thanked muslim americans for serving our communities-- and embraced them as part of one american family. he also criticized rhetoric against muslims. the visit is part of an effort to reassure muslim american youth about their place in our nation. the president has visited mosques before, but never in the u-s. the i-r-s is dealing with some technical issues on it's website. the internal revenue service says it suffered a hardware failure on wednesday afternoon-- which left many of its tax processing systems unavailable i-r-s-dot-gov is available right now-- but "where's my
